Intriguing? Absolutely. Can he be sexy? Yes. Sexiest man alive? No.
I love him as an actor because he stretches into characters others wouldn't touch. ("What's Eating Gilbert Grape" is a great example.)

Exactly, Mystique.
I always hate when someone is labeled "Sexiest Alive" because that's such a subjective title. What's sexy for one person is not for another. I'm not sure that Johnny Depp even cracks my top 10. Patrick Stewart, Alan Rickman and Sean Connery, on the other hand... they're certainly up there.

Oh, yeah, Amy. Sean Connery could be dead and he'd still be sexy. The Scot aside, it is very subjective. That's why we're not all attracted to the same person or even type of person.
(Why is it men can be ancient and still be sexy, but women older than 50 are "holding up well?")
